Since 2004 the contest has been held\u00a0every year in Osaka, and the 14th contest will be held in 2017 in Nagoya. The contest has been organized by Osaka City University, Nagoya City University, Yokohama City University, and Yomiuri Shimbun being one of the biggest news paper companies in Japan and has been supported by the Ministry of Education in Japan, the Chemical Society of Japan and so on. Ten teams selected prior to the final contest give oral presentations and the rest of entry teams give poster presentations about their research results in the final stage and judged by top scientists and educators. Several prizes such as Ministry of Education Prize and so on are presented to some excellent oral and poster presentations.<\/p>\n<p>The 14th contest will be held in 2017 at Nagoya city, Japan as an international contest. Many entries from high school teams in foreign\u00a0countries are welcomed.
